North Denmark, Central Denmark, Southern Denmark and Copenhagen. The Companies in the Zealand Region are typically small and medium sized, like the companies in North Denmark - and the region has many opportunities, if you are skilled and want to apply and upgrade your skills.

Specialists are needed in the

●   IT Sector
●   Food sector
●   Hospital sector
●   Building and Construction sector
●   Iron, metal and automotive sector

Which more specifically means there is a demand for professions such as engineers, IT-consultants, doctors, nurses, craftsmen, CNC operators and welders.

Skilled labor

The lack of specialists in the area makes Region Zealand a great place for skilled labor to become specialized, especially because there are many small and medium sized companies in the region, Here is an easy access to Copenhagen and a path to more work opportunities. In case the companies work with English speaking customers, suppliers or already has hired internationals, you will find many job opportunities in the Zealand area.

But do note that in the biggest companies often look for heavy expertise, while if you are less experienced you could as well look for medium sized companies to have a better chance of getting a job.
